Train for your first, second, third, or thirtieth half-marathon, or just stay in shape and enjoy the fun of training with a group!

What is it?
Fleet Feet Sports is offering a 9-week half-marathon training program for people hoping to run their first half-marathon or improve their time from a previous half-marathon.

What do I get?
The half-marathon training program includes guidance and advice from experienced coaches, bi-weekly group training runs, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun environment. Participants also receive a written training schedule, nutrition samples at workouts, and assorted other fun goodies. The program is geared toward the Davis Stampede Half-Marathon on Sunday, February 7, 2010. If you are not interested in a race, the program can also be used as a way to stay in shape and continue running through the holiday months.

When does the group meet?
Half-Marathon training will begin on Saturday, December 5, 2009 and the group will meet every Tuesday at 6:00pm and Saturday at 8:00am for 9 weeks.

How much does it cost?
A $90 registration fee will cover all aspects of the program. The registration fee does not include the cost of the race.
