Fitness-minded dogs and their two-legged running buddies will team up for the annual School of Veterinary Medicine's Dog 'n' Jog, coordinated by UC Davis' SVM Class of 2014, and the Students for One Health organization. This year's event follows the theme of "Stomping Out Vector-Borne Diseases." Runners may participate with or without dogs.
Race Day is March 10, 2013. The event will begin near the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, and continue through the nearby UC Davis Arboretum. Following completion of the run, joggers and their canine companions are invited to attend a Health Fair featuring human and animal health related vendors, as well as some of the UCD SVM's clubs and organizations.
Arrive at 8am for check in; races begin at 9am. Registration is $15 for the 3k run, $20 for the 5k, and $30 for the 10k. Proceeds will directly benefit the Students for One Heath club at the veterinary school, as well as the Class of 2014. Please register today!
