RUN YOUR FIRST 5K or 10K
Do you want to prepare to walk, walk/run or run your first 5K or 10K? Have you been sitting on the couch looking for something to "jump-start" your fitness? Are you a walker that wants to become a runner? Do you want to get fit, make friends, and have fun?
The No Boundaries Training Program is perfect for you. No Boundaries (NoBo) is a 10-week, co-ed, training program for beginners hoping to run or walk their first 5K or 10K race. The purpose of the program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activities of running and walking and to encourage them to live healthier lifestyles. We offer No Boundaries Training Groups year-round, with new classes beginning throughout the year. Each No Boundaries session trains for a different 5K or 10K goal race in our area. No Boundaries classes cost $85. This does not include the cost of race entry.
The No Boundaries Training Program has been updated! We are pleased to now offer "NoBo I" and "NoBo II" to our customers! NoBo I will remain the traditional beginners' program (a.k.a. "Couch to 5k") for those who are brand new to running or just returning after a long hiatus. Walkers, walk-runners, and runners are all welcome to join NoBo I. The NoBo II program is perfect for people who have already had success with the NoBo I program but are looking to increase their pace, better their form, and increase their mileage. This program is appropriate for those interested in doing interval (walk-run) training and running.
